Panic Button Pictures is the preoccupied world of award winning Animator Webster Crowell; Tactile, obsessive films about things which occasionally grow too big for their cages.

Here at Panic Button rising water has cut off the trade routes - there's black market gin and kerosene, gangs of unlicensed toaster ovens menace the alleys and what with the curfew in place it's not safe to leave the studio.   With wire, a bicycle and enough asbestos to furnish an avenue of 1940's row houses, we set to manufacturing our own industrial age.

        2010 – ramps up nicely at Panic Button, Parasol just got invited to screen at filmed by bike and rooftop films in LA. Parasol and Last Call are screening in Seattle and Portland with showcases of regional filmmakers.

        The March issue of Seattle Magazine examines animation in Seattle including features on me, with Seattle animators Britta Johnson, Stefan Gruber, Clyde Peterson and Tess Martin.         Also in March – – Me and a dozen other Seattle animation makers are throwing a party – come visit Zeitgeist Coffee at S. Jackson and 2nd ave. on Thursday March 4, 8pm to 10pm for an overwhelming 4 screen animation showdown!
